What a fun, busy week! Aunt Sissie K came for a "girls' weekend" & ended up staying even longer because of bad weather. They went shopping, out to eat, & just enjoyed spending lots of time together.

I really like Santa! Bella showed me how to open my presents. All my aunts & uncles were here so it was really fun! Mommy got Daddy a surround sound for our big TV so that led to a big project. Daddy, & Uncle Ron figured out how to get it going & then yesterday Daddy ran all the wires through the walls & hung the speakers. Mommy & Aunt Sissie C painted the big TV wall. Then today, Mommy & Daddy painted 3 other walls. The best part ~ I got to go home with Bella! I'm going to spend two nights. Mommy is driving to StL tomorrow to visit the Roths & Bolanos-Roths and then pick me up on her way home Tuesday. I'm such a lucky girl!

Have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

We had an ice storm this week & the temperature has dropped to around 0!!! It's so dang cold out that even bundled up with booties & my coat, it's too cold to go out! Mommy & Daddy decided that I should go in the basement ~ talk about confusing! All my life, they've told me I've got to wait to go outside & now they're telling me to go in the basement. I keep waiting for them to yell, but they're telling me I'm a good girl. Mommy says as soon as it gets back in the 30s I can go outside again.

On Sunday, Mommy & I went to visit Great Aunt Gladys & took her some Christmas cookies. We visited with her for awhile & then took cookies to Great Aunt Sara & Great Uncle Les. Mommy said I was a really good girl.

Thanksgiving, Trucks, Snow, Birthday - WOW! - November 24 --> 30th

Today is Daddy's 59th birthday! AND today is the first time I've ever seen snow! Daddy got to play with his new toy - it's a snowplow for his 4 wheeler. He really had fun but it scared me!

Aunt Sissie C & Uncle Bella bought Daddy's cadillac. Daddy got a new truck last week. It's really pretty. Mommy says it's for his birthday!

Last night we had Daddy's birthday dinner. Both Aunt Sissies, & Uncle Ron came. Aunt Sissie C had a new recipe for filet mignon with a white wine, mushrooms, & cream sauce. We also had baked sweet potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls, and Daddy's favorite, German Sweet Chocolate cake! Of course, Bella & I just had Science Diet dog food! :(

On Wed., night, Uncle Doug, Aunt Maureen, & Cousin Kelly came for Thanksgiving. Kelly had to work on Friday, so they had to go home Thursday night, but they had lots of fun celebrating & the girls played cards after turkey dinner. Uncle Chet came on Thursday morning, too. He stayed overnite.

On Friday, Mommy & Aunt Sissie C put away the punkin stuff and decorated for Christmas. Then Aunt Sissie K came over to work out with Aunt Sissie C. Bella & I like to chase them when they run!http://www.youtube.com/user/dagles11
