I DID It! - July 31, 2008

At 5 months, 2 days old, I finally made it ~ I jumped up on the couch for the very first time! Daddy has been trying to get me to jump up for weeks and he wasn't even home. Aunt Sissie C & Bella were lying on the loveseat and I didn't even think ~ I just wanted up there so bad, I hopped right up there!

Today I also jumped off of Aunt Sissie K's bed! That's really high up but once again, Bella was on the floor & leaving & I wanted to go, too. Mommy says I'm growing up too fast.

A friend of Aunt Sissie C's brought her & Bella to stay for a few days. Uncle Ron is coming up this weekend.

Another Fun Weekend! July 26th & 27th, 2008

Boy, did I have a fun weekend! Yesterday we drove to Uncle Ron & Aunt Sissie Chelsea's house. Uncle Ron fixed some burgers for us on the grill & Aunt Sissie C made some gooood baked beans! Bella & I did some really good playing! I love her so much!

In the afternoon, we all went to St Louis to visit Uncle Doug, Aunt Mo, Emily, Luis, & Hannah. It was Emily's 28th birthday - we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner to celebrate. They brought Em a sopapilla for dessert but Hannah thought it was hers!

Hannah took me for a walk in the backyard all by herself! (Don't tell Hannah, but Mommy was keeping an eye on us.)

The absolute best part of the weekend was that I got to have a sleepover at Bella's house! We played really hard & then slept all night. This morning we got to play again before Aunt Sissie C & I went back to StL. I had to take a nap, while everyone else went to Grant's Farm.

On the way home, we stopped to see Bella again for a little while. She's going to come visit us for a couple days on Tuesday. I can hardly wait!

Overnite at the lake house! July 25, 2008

Yesterday was so much fun. Mommy, Daddy, & I invited Great Uncle Les, Great Aunt Sara, & Great Aunt Gladys to the lake house for a cookout. Aunt Sissie K came out in the afternoon & she & I took a nap together on one of the new beds. After dinner we sat out on the deck for awhile. Great Aunt Gladys wanted me to sit on her lap really bad, but I was too antsy to stay put for long.

After they all left, we went for a long walk & up a really big hill! On the way down, I was going so fast that I turned a somersault! Then Daddy & I played ball! We slept at the lake house with real beds for the first time. I'm so lucky to have two houses!

Mommy, Daddy, & I went to the lake house today. We invited Ken & Judi Rassi over for a cookout. I slept on the couch most of the time!

I've lost 2 more teeth!!! One on the top & one on the bottom! AND, the first one I lost is already replaced with my big tooth! I'm changing every day!

Another Shot - July 8, 2008

Today I had another shot - my rabies. Mommy said I don't have to go to the vet's again for a whole year - yeaaaa!! I got my nails clipped - the girl cut one on my back paw too short - oweee! I also got weighed - I'm now 4# 1 oz.

Irving School - July 9, 2008

I had a new adventure today. I was Aunt Sissie K's "show & tell" for her class at her school. The kids were so nice to me & I was on my best behavior (except for when I barked & wanted my mommy to hold me!) Aunt Sissie K & I showed the class how I can walk beside her & sit when she tells me to.
