Elbie has a brother! January 30, 2009

I'm hoping Daddy will give me one of his Cheerios!

Ginette got a brother Yorkie, Garth, for Elbie. He's only 16 weeks & lots darker than Elbie. He's so sweet. He can't quite keep up with us girls, though.

Aunt Sissie K is coming for a girls' nite tonite! Last weekend, Mommy, Daddy & I went to see her. Mommy took Daddy's "Mrs. Timmes' Chicken", chili, Zuppa Toscana, sausage patties, & salad over for lunch. Mommy forgot my ball over there but it's coming back tonite!

Aunt Sissie C & Bella are here for the weekend. We went to PetSmart in East Peoria tonite & I got a new sweater! It's been 25 below 0 wind chill for 2 days ~ Mommy hasn't had to go to school because of the weather. Poor Bella got her nails clipped & they put a muzzle on her. We all felt so bad for her! Obviously, they don't know how sweet she is.

Bella was so hungry that she didn't take the time to get her back end off the hearth while she ate! I'm so glad she's here! We always have so much fun together~

David - January 8, 2009

Last night Mommy & Daddy had the chance to have dinner with David Slusher - Mommy's cousin, Donna's son. David just spent 8 months in Afghanistan with the US Marine Corps. It was so nice to spend time with him and let him know how proud and thankful we all are for his service to our country. Thank you again, David!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Ron! - January 4, 2009

Today is Uncle Ron's (& his twin sister, Christine) 34th birthday! Mommy & Aunt Sissie C made him a special-request lunch - Mrs. Timmes' chicken, twice-baked sweet potatoes, asparagus, & his favorite - yellow cake with chocolate icing! Tonite he's going to Alexander Steak House to celebrate with his family. Happy Birthday, Uncle Ron ~ we love you!

While I got to stay at Aunt Sissie C's for 2 nights, Mommy went to StL to see Hannah & her family. Aunt Mo & Uncle Doug had the flu so Mommy, Aunt Sissie C & Emily took Hannah to Faust Park. They were going to ride the merry-go-round and go in the Butterfly House but they were both closed. They played on the playground instead.
