Daddy & Some Friends Built a Ramp - November 2, 2008

Daddy and some friends build a ramp from our new deck to the albatross at the lake house! He's going to close it all in so I can be outside & not get in trouble! That's gonna be fun!

Busy Weekend!

Friday night was Halloween. Daddy was over at the lake house working on the ramp from the deck to the albatross. Mommy was stripping wallpaper in her bathroom because Aunt Sissie C & Bella came on Sat. am to help paint it. They worked all day & this is how "part" of it looks. On Sunday, they tried to put up the new lights but couldn't do it. They have to wait for Daddy to help.

In the afternoon, they cooked a bunch of food (lasagna, vegetable soup, & cabbage rolls) for both of them for the freezer. When we went out for a break, we met the neighbor's (Sara) 11 week old cockapoo, Cash. I didn't know what to make of the competition, but Bella really liked him. (Ok, maybe I was a little jealous.)

I'm a Heroine! October 28, 2008

Last night when I looked out the back door, I saw the big St Bernard from down the block, all by himself going toward Idlewood St. I kept barking until Mommy came to see why. Daddy took a leash & took him home. His family thought he was in the backyard, but he had jumped over their fence! Mommy said I was so good because I kept him from getting lost or hurt!

Then Mommy & Daddy gave me a bath. I don't really like it but I don't mind the blow dryer so much. Mommy trimmed my hair around my face, too. I'm all ready for Bella to come play this weekend!

I'm a Big Girl Now... October 20, 2008

Well, I've learned just about everything now! Bella is such a good teacher! I now can jump up on Mommy & Daddy's bed, jump from one couch to the other, and go just about anywhere Bella can so she can't get away from me! This is so cool!

Catching Up~ October 18, 2008

What a great week! Monday was Columbus Day & Aunt Sissie K came over to play. She called some friends in Spain & looked like a telephone operator!

This weekend Uncle Ron, Aunt Sissie C, & Bella are here! Bella taught me a new trick last night - how to watch Mommy in the kitchen! It's really easy once you know how ~ you just jump on the couch & then jump on the back of the couch & hang over the ledge! We shared kisses up there!

This morning I got to see Hannah, Emily & Luis all the way from Abu Dhabi! Hannah wanted to take me for a walk, but we haven't figured out how to do that on webcam yet. She's really getting big and talking a whole lot more. They're coming home in about 6 weeks for Christmas!

Gotta go cos Aunt Sissie K's coming over & we're going for a lonnnggg walk!

Faux birthday - October 3, 2008

This weekend we celebrated Aunt Sissie K's 27th "faux" birthday. It's not really til the 12th. Mommy fixed dinner, we watched a comedian on DVD, had cake & then Aunt Sissie opened her presents. Mommy made her cake but tried to ice it while it was still warm - that's why it says "Oops" on it.

I got to play with Bella all weekend. We both had baths today. While Bella was getting dried, I kept "boofing" that it was ok - if I could do it, she could do it! I LOVE Bella!
