What a Fun Weekend!

We had so much fun this weekend! Cousin Bella, Aunt Sissie Chelsea, & Uncle Ron came for Uncle Ron's brother's wedding. Bella & I played all weekend! I really miss her today. Mommy bought us each a pink elephant so we'd each have one, but Bella would just take all of them! Bella eats big girl, diet food but we switched every meal ~ we really liked having something different.

Puppy Class! June 17, 2008

Pooped after puppy class!

Aunt Sissie K & Mommy took me to my first puppy class at Heartland Dog Training. The other puppies were all supposed to be my size but the smallest was at least 15 pounds! I'm learning to walk with Mommy, sit, run through a barrel and long tunnel, climb stairs & go down, & come when Mommy calls me. I really just wanted to play with the other puppies. I barked at them to come play with me but Christy the leader wouldn't let them & she kept growling at me to be quiet ~ how rude!

The first time through the tunnel, Christy crawled through & kept pushing me ahead while Mommy called for me to come to her. I wasn't sure what they wanted but the second time, I beat Mommy to the other end! I can't wait to go back & see what else they're going to show me!

Cousin Hannah came to visit! June 16, 2008

Uncle Doug, Emily, Luis, & Hannah came to visit us on Monday! Hannah & I played really well together. She took me for a walk all by herself! There was no resting because she just kept dragging me along! We celebrated her one year birthday (almost 6 months late) ~ Mommy made her a cake like Great Grandma Roth used to make everyone ~ pink & white angel food with pink icing. Don't tell, but I even found a snibble on the floor after dinner! Yummy!

My first over-niter! June 13, 2008

Yesterday, Mommy, Daddy, & I went to Edwardsville, IL to see Aunt Sissie Chelsea, Uncle Ron, & my favorite of all, Cousin Bella!!!
Bella & I had so much fun! She's a lot bigger than me but she's so gentle with me.



The only problem we had was that we both wanted my toys. Mommy finally hid them & then we played some more.

This is my second cousin, Hannah Isabel, and her daddy, Luis. They live in Abu Dhabi, UAE and were in St Louis visiting her Grandma & Grandpa Roth and Aunt Kelly. We went down and stayed overnite with them. Hannah liked to get in my playpen with me! She also liked to feed me my puppy food.
This is my Aunt Maureen. I remember her visiting me at the puppy farm!
My Uncle Doug in the back is wearing his mouth shutter-upper that he's supposed to wear at night for his apnea machine. He's really funny!

This is how I slept all the way to Missouri and back! Bella liked my pink elephant, too! When we got to her house, she jumped in the car and ran all over the yard with it!


This is my 2nd cousin, Charlotte. She's my cousin Kelly's doggy. She was very nice about letting me come stay at her house. At first everybody was worried because she's so much bigger than me, but she was very gentle. She likes to kiss Hannah.
My cousin, Buster, was at the house, too, but he likes to stay with his daddy, Uncle Doug. He's older than all the rest of us & doesn't want to be bothered with us younger dogs.

I had so much fun ~ I can't wait for Emily, Luis, Hannah, Uncle Doug, and maybe Kelly to come on Monday to spend the night!

A day of firsts ~ June 10, 2008

Today is the first time I slept in bed with Mommy & Daddy! Mommy got up around 4:30 & took me out to potty. Since it was so early, she let me sleep with them for an hour til she had to get up. After I kissed Daddy for a couple minutes, I laid right between their heads in a little ball & slept! I like being in that big bed with them!

Then Mommy took me to work with her because I'm going to get groomed for the first time! Mommy said it's nothing to be scared of. When she took me in my crate & set me on the counter, some man came in with a Doberman that looked right in my crate at me! I felt safe in my crate so I just looked back at him! Christy is the lady that's going to cut my hair & give me a bath. She was really nice to me & said I can stay in my crate inside the pen. That made me feel a lot better about staying. Christy said she'll call Mommy to come get me as soon as I'm done.

Boy that was a long time - I didn't get to go with Mommy til noon! Mommy asked Christy to give me a puppy cut but we don't like my haircut too much - Mommy thinks I look like a little boy! She's hoping when I get really sleepy she can trim my face so it's not so chopped off looking. Above are my before & after pictures.

Today is starting out fun! Daddy took me outside, gave me a treat, and got on the floor to play with me! I'm rewarding him with lots of love and kisses!

My little pink elephant is the best. I haven't been the best baby the past couple days ~ peeing on the carpet right in front of Mommy & when I've just been outside! (Somebody's got to keep her on her toes!) So, I thought I'd better remind her how stinkin' cute I am and how I can entertain myself! It's working!
