Thanksgiving, Trucks, Snow, Birthday - WOW! - November 24 --> 30th

Today is Daddy's 59th birthday! AND today is the first time I've ever seen snow! Daddy got to play with his new toy - it's a snowplow for his 4 wheeler. He really had fun but it scared me!

Aunt Sissie C & Uncle Bella bought Daddy's cadillac. Daddy got a new truck last week. It's really pretty. Mommy says it's for his birthday!

Last night we had Daddy's birthday dinner. Both Aunt Sissies, & Uncle Ron came. Aunt Sissie C had a new recipe for filet mignon with a white wine, mushrooms, & cream sauce. We also had baked sweet potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls, and Daddy's favorite, German Sweet Chocolate cake! Of course, Bella & I just had Science Diet dog food! :(

On Wed., night, Uncle Doug, Aunt Maureen, & Cousin Kelly came for Thanksgiving. Kelly had to work on Friday, so they had to go home Thursday night, but they had lots of fun celebrating & the girls played cards after turkey dinner. Uncle Chet came on Thursday morning, too. He stayed overnite.

On Friday, Mommy & Aunt Sissie C put away the punkin stuff and decorated for Christmas. Then Aunt Sissie K came over to work out with Aunt Sissie C. Bella & I like to chase them when they run!http://www.youtube.com/user/dagles11

Another busy weekend! November 14 --> 17, 2008

Daddy bought a new truck!!! Friday night we drove a different truck to StL to switch for Daddy's new one. It's dark cherry but almost looks black. Mommy & Daddy stayed at Uncle Doug & Aunt Mo's. They were glad because they got to see Uncle Doug - he had a knee replacement on November 6th. He's doing so well that he even went with Daddy to pick up his new truck and then out for breakfast.
I got to have a sleepover at Bella's. We had fun playing but when it was time for bed, she wouldn't let me sleep in their bed! Aunt Sissie C finally put me in my crate. I didn't really care - it was late & I was tired!
When we got home Sat., Mommy cut my hair while Daddy held me. Then they gave me a bath. I look like a new puppy! Mommy didn't do too bad AND I didn't have to go to a groomer! Now I just need my nails clipped.
Yesterday, both Aunt Sissies & Bella came. The mamas went shopping & us girls played. Today Mommy is going to a doctor appointment with Aunt Sissie C and then they'll go home this afternoon. We don't have the pictures downloaded yet, but they'll be coming soon.

Boy, I'm such a lucky girl! Today both Aunt Sissies, Uncle Ron & Bella came!

Uncle Ron went to lunch with his friends & the girls all cooked. They made meatloaves, hamburger for the freezer, more vegetable soup & cabbage rolls for Aunt Sissie K and some enchiladas. There was a small accident with some enchilada sauce ~ oops!

Bella & I got some beef-flavored rawhide bones, but mine upset my tummy. I was drooling so much that it was dripping on the floor. Mommy got scared & Aunt Sissie K called my doctor. He said to watch me for a couple hours & if I got worse to call him back. I was so busy playing with Bella that I didn't really know anything was wrong. Mommy & Aunt Sissie C gave both of us baths - we were dirty doggies but now we smell really good! Uncle Ron & Bella took a little rest. After our baths, Aunt Sissie K took a movie of us playing. I sure love Bella~

Daddy and some friends build a ramp from our new deck to the albatross at the lake house! He's going to close it all in so I can be outside & not get in trouble! That's gonna be fun!

Busy Weekend!

Friday night was Halloween. Daddy was over at the lake house working on the ramp from the deck to the albatross. Mommy was stripping wallpaper in her bathroom because Aunt Sissie C & Bella came on Sat. am to help paint it. They worked all day & this is how "part" of it looks. On Sunday, they tried to put up the new lights but couldn't do it. They have to wait for Daddy to help.

In the afternoon, they cooked a bunch of food (lasagna, vegetable soup, & cabbage rolls) for both of them for the freezer. When we went out for a break, we met the neighbor's (Sara) 11 week old cockapoo, Cash. I didn't know what to make of the competition, but Bella really liked him. (Ok, maybe I was a little jealous.)
